I have a question, when does the new stellaris RP take place. As in is it before that disasterous Shadow Empire war or after?

As Admin I have no position on the subject, and that the community should decide. As Joe Joerson I have the opinion that it should be before considering the necessity of deciding what happens afterward from that, and that if before it should focus on the Old ones and other conflicts than the Shadow War and try to forget it's happenings.

I agree that it should be before that hole debacle.

I agree with the above, it was an unfortunate incident (both from an in-game perspective and out) and should be retconned away.

I Have been trying too find what this shadow war is but I cant I assume it was some war that killed most of the players or made one empire very OP am I correct in my assumption or was it worse than that? and if it was really shitty it should be retconned

It was in the Old Paradox 'Stellaris Roleplay Thread' rp. Both sides disagreed on what was fair and what should happen in a war. One side was a large Empire with a Large military the other side was small but had allies. As weell there were no way for the players to compare strength to each other without specifically stating their strength. And even that was unreliable. Hence why this forums exists, moderators. Check, power rankings, Check, military sizes for power rankings, Check.

So it is best left behind, however it does not appear many wish to continue that rp. So I am considering deleting the sub-forum.
