Contact Between the Kreazi Domain and the Clans

Following a successful scientific expedition to a glowing tombworld under military cordon and the offloading of 'gathered samples' on the homeworld, the science flotilla of Clan Yu return to the same general region of space to continue their exploration. While others may balk at returning to such a hotbed of conflict, the captain-scientists firmly believe that where there is one dead world there's another ripe for the tak- surveying.

A Domain ship approaches it. A hologram of Thyara appears over the ship, similar to the hologram of the The Clans' first contact with a missionary ship, although this one is white. A transmission is sent as well, somehow speaking in your language.

"Your ships are similar to what we found back then... In the footage we found in the lost missionary ship, which we found some time ago. We don't believe their death was caused by you, but can you confirm? Time to introduce myself. I'm Q-thar qur Badhalin, Archprophet of the Thyaras of the Domain, and speaker for the Kreazi. Can you show your appearances so we know this is not a trap?"

The ship opens a standard video feed of a singular Yuxu male in a form fitting uniform and looser coat. "Yes, this is Reis-Alim Yuaro of the Awakened Dreaming Clans. You'll find that our ships are unarmed, we haven't destroyed anyone."

(Just in case you didn't realize, I'm referring to the "Myshan Diplomatic Corps" Thread, which I forgot while we were roleplaying in it. Thus I made up that the missionary ship somehow disappeared to later be discovered.)

"Well, there are many ways the ship could be destroyed. Anyways, that was years ago, so it wouldn't matter anyways. We have noticed your research on the Asornuais, which consumes the energy of planets. Currently six planets have lost all lifeforms. We have a lack of diplomatic ties, so the Divine Beings have authorized an embassy at your homeworld, if you were to accept. Do you?"

"The officials aboard our station will handle the details. We're out of sensor range. When I left a group of aliens were being entertained aboard it, so I'm sure it will be fine. Now, this Asornuais, what energy does it consume? Geothermal? Does it split and absorb the energy of atoms?"

"It mainly eats all organic materials, heat and light on the target planet, among other types of energy. When it leaves, the planet is nothing more than cold, dark stone, left to be reheated by its star. We are thankful that it ignores stars. The problem with it is that it cannot be destroyed, but that is written to have happened before. But in the current situation, we theorize that it was rather sealed."

"You mean it consumes the heat out of the center of the planet's core? How can it sap the heat out of everything nearby and not be content with solar radiation? This is madness."

"Those who meddle with the Psychic, are bound to mess up even the laws of the universe. The Kreazi were even before their ascension, against the very idea. Even the brightest scientists of the time had trouble explaining it, but as the Divine Texts teach us that some did. Nevertheless, if still in existence, they are hidden deep in the ruins of past greatness."

"Yes, past greatness seems to be the theme of the galaxy at the moment. Every species we've contacted has been scarred by it in the past in some way... I'm trasmitting the coordinates of our home system over to you."

We usually send a prophet, for practical purposes, but the Domain is quite shaken right now. The Thyaran homeworld we had to abandon in the Viur conflicts, Krethia, was recently affected by the planet-eater.

First we lost it in the Ka-vadran crusade against religion, and then we failed to reconquer it from the Fallen Thyaras. This followed by the destruction of it has caused revolts by foolish slaves, believing the Divine Beings to be worthless mortals... The deep jungles and lakes are now gone, replaced by frozen rocky hills and valleys, with a lack of lifeforms... This itself is unexplained by science, so how are they so slow to believe in the divine? As the Kreazi has said to the me, who is the Archprophet himself and truth-speaker, this is the work of the Unholy, the absolute evil...

Sorry for speaking out of place, but this has scarred our minds. I shall never hide anything from anyone, unless by the Holy Law, and shall tell you and anyone who picks up this message... One of our Prophets have betrayed us, and whoever is responsable, shall die!"
